Each Color in the Cubs Palette

Cubs Blue (#0E3386)

People call it royal blue out of habit, and marketing copy does the same. It isn’t, really. At 219 degrees hue with only 29% lightness, #0E3386 sits much closer to a true navy blue than to anything bright. Cubs Red (#CC3433)

Worth knowing: red was actually the Cubs accent back in 1900, got swapped for blue in 1901, and clawed its way back later. It’s never been the lead. It’s the punctuation.

White (#FFFFFF)

Cubs Uniform Colors
