Infographics are a trend nowadays and almost everyone can create one in a jiffy with some interesting facts and a design program, but to design a great one takes a little bit more than that. I wasn’t planning on doing this article but I’ve seen such bad infographics on the internet, that I was practically forced to filter them out. I know it sounds cheesy but the good infographics which show both an interesting information and ingenious design are forgotten in the corner of the internet while other infographics that pop up every day catch people’s attention and they are given as examples of how an infographic should look like.
In this article you’ll find 40 infographics which have different design elements, which I find really great, making them to stand out of the crowd and also you will see various styles that you can take as examples for future infographics that you’ll make. Inspire yourselves but don’t copy.

deZane aka Thomas Tibitanzl is a self-taught Graphic Designer/Digital Artist and Web Designer, who was born 22.04.1985 in the beautiful “golden city” Prague, where he had lived for 4 years and moved to Germany. He is living in Munich for over 19 years now.
He found his passion for art really early since childhood and began his first artistic moves with a pencil, later on with coal. With the age of 12 he bought his first computer and discovered the mighty Internet, it fascinated him so much, that his goal was to build his own website.
He’s from Warsaw, Poland and he’s a great graphic designer. It’s like he’s opening Illustrator, slams down an artwork, draws it brilliantly with pen tool, fills it with gradients and swoosh! you’ve got some great illustrations… or simply practice makes better. Besides the usual graphic design part, he also helped with some of his artistic touch on sites like SensiSoft. Good looking flash site, a little bit vintage and it looks like the “little Paris” in its golden ages. He also has an interesting site.
Being either photomanipulations or simply illustrations, Christopher Haines‘ creations are marvelous. I can’t seem to get enough of creations like Rise, Atargatis or Helpless which reminds me of the Colossus of Rhodes. Also, the images made for Al Jazeera network look like they are from Terminator, I, Robot or a similar movie. Thumbs up!
Maybe sometimes you’re asking yourselves how brilliancy is spelled. Well… G-L-E-N-N J-O-N-E-S. Yes, Glenn Jones is brilliant. This guy from New Zealand makes illustrations full of humor and symbolism. I tried to gather only some of his creations, the rest of them can be found on his site. Thumbs up for Glenn and his business.
