Since the first satellite photos of Earth on August 14, 1959 things have evolved a little. A little more I would say, as you would be shocked to see a comparison between the photos here and the first ones ever taken from space. Since then, though, NASA has found a lot of beautiful places on Earth that many of us have never seen. From what I’ve seen in these great satellite pictures, the deltas look simply awesome. Also, the frosty places like mountains, fjords or glaciers have a dreamy look that looks almost photoshopped.
