31 Custom painted violins, guitars and cellos
Who would have thought that musical instruments could be custom painted? Besides Van Halen, that is… The most popular painted musical instruments are guitars, as you will see yourselves in this article, but some talented artists have laid their magic fingers on violins and cellos too. From what I’ve seen people tend to use traditional paintings on their musical instruments but painting them with an airbrush has become sort of a trend in the last years.

dude thiese are amazing i especially loved the green flame guitar but they are all totally narlie!!!

Some of these painted violins are amazing! Although, I’d like to challenge anyone to play that purple one with flowers. Heh. There aren’t any strings on that one.

haha! Probably it was photographed immediately after painting and the strings would have been attached later.

Love the painted violins! I wish I could do that to my guitar and my grand piano :)
