Beautifully designed logos often have a particular style, a certain quality that marks them as being either clean & simple, colorful, sharp or retro. Retro logos in particular tend to make use of a subtle texture to give the design a bit of an edge, to help it stand out and look a bit vintage, whilst also being aesthetically pleasing.
We’ve selected 30 logos that use texture beautifully, and really stand out as being out of the ordinary.
As a designer it can be tough sometimes to choose a font to suit the logo symbol you are creating for your new client. Some designers argue that it’s easier to pick the font style first and then design a symbol after.
Regardless of which way you do it choosing the right font for the industry you are designing for can make or break your logo design concept.
I have put together several logo designs I have created in the past to show you which fonts I have used in the design process based on Industry type.

A lot of awesome logos have been submitted to logo galleries in June, proof that designers are still working and not going on vacation. After creating these logos, I say they deserve all the time they need for R&R.
The article contains 50 logos from a multitude of logo designers including some of our favorites: Mike Erickson, Floris Voorveld, Sean Heisler or Milosz Klimek.
Time to get inspired cause we have here a collection of 50 logos that appeared in galleries this month and I’m sure you’ll like them cause there are a few that are absolutely brilliant, like the LIT logo below, for example. I’ve always liked round corners, in web design and also in print and I will always prefer a business card with round corners. Some people believe that round corners can’t be applied to any brand, because some brands want to transmit a solid and bold attitude. Not a very good argument, I would say, the VIA business card stands proof that round corners can give the same solemn feeling and besides that it looks sleeker than a regular business card would look.
In this article you will see 45 hand picked round corners business cards in various styles and elements alignment, some taking advantage of the letterpress effect; a few of them are actually transparent. The good thing about all of these is that they look good and reflect the images of its owner and that’s pretty important.
